Funeral services for Sadie Nation of Valliant will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Valliant Church of God with Bro. Rick Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Valliant Cemetery
Mrs. Nation died February 19, 2006 in Hugo. She was 79. She was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Mrs. Nation was born March 14, 1926 in Albion, Texas, the daughter of Ard Spencer and Inez (Mallon) Spencer and had lived most of her life in the Valliant area. She married Clarence Nation on October 1, 1940 in Idabel. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Benny Nation, a grandson, Aaron Beck, and a sister, Lulamae Young.
SURVIVING RELATIVES: two daughters, Clara Mae Phillips of Ringold and Hazel Fennell of Valliant. Three sons, Lonnie Nation, Howard Nation and Ricky Nation, all of Valliant; two sisters, Linda Smith of Valliant and Bonnie Harman of Denison, Texas; one brother, Kennith Spencer of DeQueen, Arkansas 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends.
VISITATION: the family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the funeral home.Miller & Miller Funeral Home -Valliant.
