Max Savage

Services for Max Savage were Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Miller & Miller Chapel.

Mr. Savage died Feb. 22, 2006 in Durant. He was 65.A member of the Baptist faith, Max was a tire salesman and a Vietnam veteran. He was born March 1, 1940 in Divine, Texas, the son of Eddie and Reba Savage and had lived in Soper since 1993.He loved golf, playing pool, being around cattle, pheasant and quail hunting, his dogs, and loved spending time with his family. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dudley Savage and Deloy Savage and a sister, Owene Savage.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: his wife, Judy Savage; three sons: Jeffrey Scott Savage of Phoenix, AZ, David Kent Savage of Springfield, MO, and Guillemo Aldana Savage of Dallas, Texas; two daughters: Stephanie Taylor of Soper, OK and Amber Dee Savage of Colorado; three grandchildren.

Interment was in the Soper Cemetery, Soper, Okla.
