Grace Cannedy

Grace Annie Cannedy, a resident of Paris, Texas. died Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital in that city.
She was 80.
Mrs. Cannedy was a homemaker by occupation. She was born Feb. 12, 1910 in Kiowa, Okla., the daughter of Chock and Mitchie Ellene (Jump) Pulliam. She had lived in this community for 13 years.
She married Gaylon Joe Cannedy on Jan. 30, 1932. He survives her.
Other survivors include 10 sons: William Joe Cannedy of Paris, Texas; George E. Cannedy of Beford, Texas; John W. Cannedy and Gaylon Cannedy, Jr., both of Irving, Texas; Giles Edward Cannedy and James Earl Cannedy, both of Antlers; Roy Samuel Cannedy of Detroit, Texas; Jefferson Floyd Cannedy of Lancaster, Texas; Darrell Wayne Cannedy of Powderly, Texas; and Carl David Cannedy of Phoenix, Ariz.
Additional survivors include three brothers, Bob Pulliam of Hugo and Buck and Johnny Pulliam, both of California; two sisters, Jim Gilmore and Flippy Babcock, both of California; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held today at 2 p.m. in the Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home chapel. DeeWayne Koehn officiating and burial was in the Fort Towson Cemetery.
The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo was in charge of arrangements.
