Funeral services for Judy B. Adams of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo with Rev. Edward Pisachubbe officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Judy B. Adams passed away on June 2, 2006 at the age of 84. She was born on August 11, 1921 in Cooper, Texas, to Bill and Minnie Lee (Huie) Tucker. She married George Adams and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker and loved her family. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George in 1991, one son, Gary Wayne Adams and one daughter, Wanda Jo Pearson and one grandson.

She is survived by two sons, Melvin Leon Adams of Waco, Texas, and Alton Ray Adams of Hugo; four daughters, June Ellen France of Mesquite, Texas, Ruth Adams of Dallas, Joy O’Leary Duran of Waco, Texas, and Teresa Ann Miyamoto of Waipahu, Hawaii; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
