Dan Bridges, Jr.

Dan Bridges, Jr., died April 26, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was born October 12, 1923 to Cleveland (Dan) Bridges and Thelma L. Bridges Harrell. Dan Sr. ran a grocery business and later a pool hall in Hugo. Thelma was secretary at the First Baptist Church of Hugo for many years. They both preceded him in death. Dan Jr. attended school in Hugo and graduated there, then he attended OBU at Shawnee. He was a journalist and photographer.

He is survived by his aunts, Elva Roy Canavaciol, Alpha Dean Durbin England and Mabel K. Roy, as well as a number of cousins and friends.

Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on June 17.
