Minnie Seloma (Vandenburg) Ned

Graveside services for Minnie Seloma (Vandenburg) Ned of Bennington were held at 10:00 a.m. May 6, 2006 at Wade Cemetery in Wade, Okla., with Chaplain Greg Hatch officiating.

Mrs. Ned died May 3, 2006 at her home. She was 69. She was a homemaker.

Minnie was born April 4, 1937 in Bray, Okla., the daughter of Allen Pete Vandenburg and Virgie Lee (May) Vandenburg and had lived in the Wade community most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Ned January 16, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents

SURVIVING RELATIVES: 2 sons; Kenneth Hassey and his wife Billie of Rowlett, Texas, and George Ned of Wade, Okla., 5 daughters; Lola Boyer and her husband David of Frisco, Texas, Lillie Gilbert and her husband Edward of Wade, Okla., Gwenda Ned of Wade, Okla., Tammie Greenhaw and her husband James of Albany, Okla., and Susie Ned and her husband Jorge of Joshua, Texas, 4 brothers; Rick Vandenburg, Don Vandenburg, James Vandenburg, and Gene Vandenburg, all of Bokchito, Okla.; 4 sisters: Judy Mitchell of Bokchito, Okla., Faye Haun of Bennington, Okla., Dorothy Smith of Bokchito, Okla., and Betty Dumas of Lubbock, Texas, and 11 grandchildren; Steven Boyer, Terry Gilbert, Carey Gilbert, Brian Hassey, Michael Hassey, Donna Ruiz, Megan Ned, Jonathon Ned, Dakota Ned, Leslie Greenhaw, and Hailee Greenhaw along with numerous great grandchildren and other family and friends.
