Rites Set Saturday For Former Hugoan

Funeral services for Rafael S. (Rafe) Biard, 75 year old Paris, Tex., resident who managed a cotton oil mill in Hugo about 40 years ago, are set for 11 o’clock Saturday morning in the Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, Tex. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery there.

Mr. Biard was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paris Thursday morning after suffering an apparent heart attack at a Paris bank. He was a retired cotton oil mill and cotton gin man.

His wife, two sons and three grandchildren are the most immediate survivors.
