Alfred Clifton Flanagan The Hugo Daily News – January 29, 1970 Transcribed by Ron Henson Rites Set Friday For A.C. Flanagan A.C. Flanagan, Rt. 1, Grant, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paris, Tex., about 1 p.m. Wednesday. He had been ill about three weeks. Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Lampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Golden officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Alfred Clifton Flanagan was born June 22, 1892, in Memphis, Tenn., and had lived in Choctaw County since coming here from Rufe in 1925. He was a Baptist and was a retired farmer. Surviving Mr. Flanagan are his wife, the former Miss Stella Keith, whom he married in 1911; six sons, one daughter and 31 other descendants. The former are L.C.
