Betterton Appeal Hearing Tomorrow

Hearing of the appeal of Monroe Betterton of Vinita, convicted in November of wife murder and sentenced to execution on January 23, is set for tomorrow morning, before the criminal court of appeals. Betterton now is in the state penitentiary at McAlester. At the time he is said to have committed the crime, he was under parole from the Missouri penitentiary from a sentence of ninety-nine years imprisonment for the murder of a former wife.

Need obit for James Harnar   1102

We need the obituary for James Jacob Harnar who died 21 January 1933 in Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma. He was married to Anna Michel Clutter and we do not know the date she died other than 1944 sometime. They had one son, Claud Clem Harnar

We need the obituaries for Claud Clem Harnar and his wife Blanche Suagee, but we do not have the death dates for them. Their children were Eula, Ralph, Randall, Clyde, Mildred Louise, Juanita, Curtis and Darry.
So would appreciate anything we can obtain on the family. Thanks!

I checked the OKLAHOMAN newspaper (published in Oklahoma City) and found no obits. There was one death notice published on 10/31/1971:
Deaths Reported Throughout State
Miami, Oklahoma
Harnar, Ralph, 70. Services pending (Cooper).
