Born 1844 in Lawrence County, Alabama

  Died Oct 15, 1905 in Wynnewood, I.T.

William M. Garner is buried at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood and he does have a military marker

He married Susan Jane in Quitman, Arkansas on May 16, 1867.  Susan was born in 1849 and died in 1928 and is buried beside him at Oaklawn Cemetery, in the Rollow Plot

Susan filed for a pension in 1922

William was a merchant during his time in this area

He was a member of the Methodist Church in Wynnewood

He was wounded twice in the war, having fought in 21 battles and at one time was 84 days under fire
