This is a very well kept cemetery. There is a sign posted that says there is a picnic at this cemetery every Memorial Day. The sign also states that donations for upkeep of the cemetery may be sent to Banc First, 110 W. Smith, Stratford, OK 74872, (580) 759-2326. Be sure to mark it for care of Lewis Cemetery. You can get to this cemetery by taking old hwy 19 or Longmire Lake road as it is now called. The turn is about 1/2 way between Pauls Valley and Hwy 177. You come to a sign on the north side of the road that says 7-Shooter and a road sign on the south side that says Tom Seymour Road and Lewis Cemetery. Turn back south and drive for a couple of miles and you come to a stop sign and a sign that says Lewis Cemetery. Turn right/west and drive for about 1 mile and the cemetery is on the right/north side of the road.
