I was born in Ponca City and grew up in Tonkawa-my Dad came to Tonkawa to guard the POW Camp-my first home was the POW Camp. My Mother taught school in Tonkawa for many years. I have some old pictures and probably some articles I can share. I am also trying to find verification of my Dad's service there (Harold C. Gingrich-Serial Number 35349418-he was a PFC) and as much about the camp as I can. Will help as I can.

Looked at your site and it looks great. I help maintain the NCOHA (North Central Oklahoma Historical Association), Pioneer Genealogy and 101 Ranch site.

Keith and I would be glad to share information with you. The goal of these sites are to help people find information on their families and their lives. Helping others has always been our goal. Unfortunately we felt we were being abused early on and took the action we felt would solve the problem. There are pages on the site that I have personally put together and don't mind sharing, but would like to be acknowledged for the work. At this time we have several dead links and our work situation has not allowed us to update very much.

I work at one of the Marland homes, have lots of information about the 101 Ranch, work with the 101 Ranch Oldtimers and Collectors, knowledgeable of Ponca City history and Kay County. I also have several reference books available to me.

Keith and I are willing to assist however we can.
