CONNELLY
-- Jean King, born in Newkirk, OK, November 29, 1917, died in Tulsa,
Friday, March 9, 2007. She became a member of First Presbyterian Church
in 1928, along with her parents and 2 brothers. She graduated from
Central High School in 1935. She worked at First Presbyterian Church
for 3 years after high school. She attended Camp Wasila for 8 years and
attended Dwight Conference for 3 years. She was married to Joe F.
Connelly for 63 years. She delivered "Meals on Wheels" for 25 years
with her husband, Joe. She also served as a Deaconess for First
Presbyterian Church. Jean is survived by: sons, Gary M. and his wife,
Mary and Thomas M. and his wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Scott Blake and
his wife, Courtney, Amanda Connelly, Blake Seaton and Laura Reynolds;
and great-grandchild, Christopher Connelly. In lieu of flowers friends
may contribute to Meals on Wheels at First Presbyterian Church or to
Sojourn Care Hospice. Service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, at First
Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow interment at Memorial Park
