Eliza A Burgess born 02-02-1852 in Iowa married Bolen Cheatham prior to 1882.  She lived with her daughter and son-in-law Julia & Mack L Wade in Cravens, Latimer County, Oklahoma.  The 1930 census shows Eliza born in 1857 and that she was 73 years old.  Does anyone know if she is buried in or near Cravens? pattyacook@gmail.com

Searching for the parents and lineage of John Thomas Harris (1871 - 1945).  He married Mary Lewis Hodge (1875 - 1951).  I have found conflicting information on his parents.  His birth certificate indicates parents were "WP Harris" (writing is unclear) and Margret L. Brown.  I have another source indicating that his father was named Nelson P.  There is a Margret L. Harris buried in the Wilburton City Cemetery, whose headstone indicates she was married to a Nelson P.  She died August 25, 1915.  If any has or can acquire a copy of her obituary from the local Wilburton/Latimer Co. paper, I would love to get that.   I'm thinking she is the mother of John Thomas, but haven't been able to make the connection for sure.  If anyone had any additional information on John Thomas Harris, Margret  (Brown) Harris or Nelson P. Harris, I would appreciate that. I'm also looking for more info on John Thomas' lineage.  A family history I have suggests Nelson Harris was his father, and that Nelson was born in NC in 1822 and died about 1881, location unknown.  This genealogy traces the family to the Isle of Wight in Virginia, back to the early 17th century.  If there are other Harris genealogists out there with information, I am very interested in connecting.

I'm looking for death dates & places, and hopefully obits for Addison and Phoebe.  I am not able to locate them on the 1920 Latimer Co OK census, so I think they may have died before 1920.  Addison was originally from Pike Co KY, and was closely related to the McCoy clan of the Hatfield-McCoy feud.  I understand the Latimer County News-Democrat paper goes back to about 1915 (maybe even earlier)...could someone help with a look-up please? Found the following:
1910 Latimer Co OK (Gowen Twp., Page 13-A, ED # 139, HH # 85)
Addison McCoy, 69, Head, Male, White,
m.2@48yrs, KY KY VA,  Farmer
Febie McCoy, 62, Wife, Female, White,
m.1@48yrs, KY KY KY, 9 children / 7 living
Willie McCoy, 33, Son, Male, White, single, WV KY KY
