Gentlemen:
Inclosed (sic) herewith you will find a copy of the decision of the Commission, rendered on the 5th day of May, 1903, Granting the application of Hill Phillips, for enrollment as a citizen by intermarriage of the Chickasaw Nation.
You are hereby advised that you be allowed fifteen days from this date within which to file protest against the action of the Commission in enrolling the applicant herein as a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. If at the expiration of that time no protest has been filed, the applicant will be placed upon the final rolls of the citizens of the Chickasaw Nation to be submitted to the Secretary of the Interior for his approval.
