1900 Indian Census - By Townships & Towns

This is the area that generally became Murray County after 1907.

Incomplete - new information is being added often.

The census of 1900 for Indians was quite different that that for Black, White and others. 
The questions dealt with marriage, citizenship of the Nations and dwellings.
The Indian census is presented here in a different format that that of the White or Black 
residents of the area. This census should not be considered all inclusive no matter the race
of the individual. There seemed to be a lot of John Smiths that could not remember what State 
they were from. The ages can also not be trusted as I have seen the ages given to be as much as
10 to 20 years younger than their tombstones stated. As usual, I know nothing of individual 
families or genealogy, so don't ask. I just present the information as it was found.
