Beulah Dent McCubbins

For those of you who are related to the Treat and Yarbrough families, you might want to know that Beulah Dent McCubbins of Ponca City, OK has passed away this last weekend. Grace Funeral Home in Ponca is handling the service. Beulah was the daughter of Mae Treat Dent and J. E. Dent, Osage Co., OK, the Granddaughter of Jess Treat and Betty (Yarbrough) Treat, and the great granddaughter of Mary Ann "Polly" (Rose) Treat and Andrew Jackson Treat, son of Stephen Treat, and "Polly" being the daughter of Sarah RAchel (Bratton) Rose and Silas Rose. Beulah, my mother Velma, and their brother Harry were born near Prue, OK during the 1920's and grew up and married in that area. They played as children with all the families living in the Osage Co., OK area, primarily Prue and Tonkawa where J. E. Dent was employed by Gulf Oil.
