ORDER EMPANELLING GRAND JURY.
 
Now on this the 5th day of September 1910, comes William Ellis, sheriff of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, and returns into open court the Venire for Grand Jurors for the September 1910, Term of the District Court of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, duly selected, drawn and summoned as provided by law; and now the following named persons held in custody awaiting the action of the Grand Jury are brought into open court, to-wit:
 
Simeon Bond, John Freeman, Mark Williams
 
And now the Venire is called by the Clerk and the following named person lawfully selected, drawn and summoned for Grand Jurors are found present, to-wit:
 
J. C. Ballard
W. F. Bassham
J. B. Bowles
W. P. Brooks
R. B. Burnett
C. W. Coones
N. R. Donica
R. D. Fizgerald
Theo Hollins
W. T. Hughes
R. N. Hurd
Orus Leathers
L. D. McKinney
Dr. J. H. Miller
G. W. Self
W. C. Shilling
J. M. Smith
J. J. Webb
 
And are duly sworn by the Clerk to answer truthfully all questions that may be asked them touching their competency and qualifications as Grand Jurors, and thereupon they are interrogated by the County Attorney and by the Court touching their qualifications as Grand Jurors; and now they are tendered for examination and for challenge to the prisoners aforesaid then and there present, and to any other persons present who have reason to believe that any act of theirs will come before said Grand Jury for investigation, and no objection is offered to any of said Grand Jurors by any persons; and now the Court deeming expedient, doth excuse and discharge the following named persons as Grand Jurors, to-wit:

W. T. Hughes
W. C. Shilling
 
And now the following named persons twelve in number, lawfully selected, drawn and summoned, being without legal excuse, and being shown to possess all the qualifications for Grand Jurors as required by law, are taken, to-wit:
 
W. F. Bassham
J. B. Bowles
R. B. Burnett
C. W. Coones
N. R. Donica
R. D. Fitzgerald
Theo Hollins
R. N. Hurd
Orus Leathers
Dr. J. H. Miller
G. W. Self
J. J. Webb
 
And now Dr. J. H. Miller is by the Court appointed foreman of the Grand Jury and is sworn as such foreman in the manner provided by law; and now the remainder of the panel are sworn in the manner provided by law; and the said twelve persons are lawfully empanelled as the Grand Jury for the September 1910, Term of this Court, and are now charged by the Court touching their duties; and now J. H. Hampton is by the Court appointed Bailiff for the Grand Jury and is duly sworn as such; and thereupon the Grand Jury retired in charge of their sworn bailiff to take up the business before them.
