The District Court of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, met pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma, on the 13th day of September, 1909, the same being a regular session, Present and presiding, the Honorable Malcolm E. Rosser, District Judge for said County and District, in the State of Oklahoma, and also present, A. J. Arnote, Esq. County Attorney, William Ellis, Sheriff and P. W. Hudson, Clerk.
 
And public proclamation of the convening of said Court having been made and said Court having been opened in the due form of law, the following proceedings were had, to-wit:
 
EMPANELLING PETIT JURY
 
Now on this the 13th day of September, 1909, comes William Ellis, Sheriff of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, and return into open court the Venire for Petit Jurors, for the September, 1909, term of the District Court of Pushmataha County, State of Oklahoma, duly selected, drawn and summoned as provided by law; and now the Venire is called by the Clerk; and the following named persons lawfully selected, drawn and summoned for Petit Jurors were found present, to-wit:

Geo. W. Chancellor
J. C. Cobb
N. A. Crumb
J. T. Duniho
Ray Easton
J. T. Flemming
A. E. Fuller
T. L. Gardner
R. H. Goodwin
G. E. Haynes
W. T. Helm
Mike Holt
G. L. Hurd
C. P. King
Orus Leathers
W. H. Maynard
T. M. McKinney
L. H. Nix
C. A. Stone
T. J. Wakefield
G. W. Walker
John Watson
W. W. Wilmoth
 
And are duly sworn by the Clerk to answer truthfully all question that may be asked them touching their competencies and qualifications as Petit Jurors, and thereupon they were interrogated by the County Attorney and by the Court touching their qualifications as Petit Jurors, and now the Court deeming it expedient, doth excuse and discharge the following named persons summoned as Petit Jurors, to-wit:

Ray Easton
G. E. Haynes
 
And thereupon the above remaining Jurors were duly empanelled as Petit Jury for the September, 1909, term of the District Court of Pushmataha County, Oklahoma.
