KATHERINE MAE WALKER AUSTIN

Lifelong Finley resident, Katherine Mae (Walker) Austin was born September
17, 1923 in Finley, Oklahoma and passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2001
in Finley, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years.

Katherine was a homemaker/housewife and a member of the First United
Methodist Women's Society and enjoyed gardening and gospel singing.

She is survived by her 5 children: Johnny Frazier and wife Vera of Antlers,
Okla.; Shelly Billy and husband Tony Greenwood of Finley, Okla.; Becky
Sapulpa of Finley, Okla.; Dwight Austin and wife Diana of Antlers, Okla; and
Eugenia Martinez and husband Custer of Finley, Okla.; 1 brother: Joe Walker
of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces,
nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents: David and Agnes (Graman) Walker
and her husband: Benjamin T. Austin.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Antlers First United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Hance, Floyd Peters
and Reverend Harvey Williams officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were: Rufus Eyachubbee, Curtis Eyachubbee, Victor
Eyachubbee, John Dickson Williams, Jimmy Meshaya, T. J. Meshaya, and Preston
Meshaya.

Burial took place at the Austin Family Cemetery. Under the direction of
Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
