Sept. 29, 1938

M. A. Fleming Is Buried Sunday

Services for M. A. Fleming, 88, were conducted at the Belzoni cemetery by Rev. Glenn Bates, pastor of the Baptist church of that community, and the interment followed, under the direction of the Woodruff-Jones funeral home of Antlers.

Mr. Fleming succumbed on Saturday after a prolonged illness. He was given a masonic funeral, as he was a member of the local chapter 30 years. Robert L. Harris of Antlers read the rites.

Surviving are Mrs. Letha Madding, J. T. Fleming, Mrs. Etta McCoy, all of Belzoni; Mrs. Sarah Smith of McKinney, Texas.

Pall bearers were Robert L. Harris, Elliston Labor, Rufus Colbert, Green Amend; W. W. Duncan, Scott Amend.
