ORZOLA FORSYTHE

Orzola Forsythe was born on June 8, 1925 in Stanley, Oklahoma and passed
from this life on September 7, 2001 at Paris, Texas at the age of 76 years.

Orzola lived in this area most of her life. She was a faithful member of the
Finley Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes included sewing and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Forsythe of the home; daughters:
Alice Statler of Senegal, West Africa; Patricia Knoll of Tucson, Arizona,
and Betty Forsythe of Clayton, Oklahoma; brothers: James Nichols of
Shreveport, Louisiana, and Donald Nichols of Clayton, Oklahoma; sisters:
Doris Johnson of Fleminton, New Jersey, Christine Howze of Choctaw,
Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren: Andrew, Adam, Joanna, and Alex Knoll, Matthew and
Marcy Statler.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Willie Franklin and Mary Jane
(Eslick) Nichols; brothers: Kenneth and Samuel Nichols; sisters: Pricilla
Howze and Zonita Antilla.

Funeral services were held on Monday, September 10, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at
the Finley Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Howard and Pastor James Carpenter
officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were: James Young, Mike Ridley, Odell Lee, John
Underwood, Charlie Mueller, and Donald H. Nichols.

Honorary pallbearers included: Dale Daniels and Jay Daniels.

Burial was held at the Finley Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey
Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.

Memorials may be made to the Finley Baptist Church.
