DELONE PAUL HARRIS

Delone Paul Harris was born on May 20, 1933 in Edson, Alberta, Canada to
Paul and Dollie (Fenimore) Harris and passed away on August 20, 2001 in
Oleta, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years.

Mr. Harris has been a resident of the Oleta area for the past 28 years after
retiring from the military. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam
Conflicts.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife: Lamona Jane Harris of the
home; 1 son: Dean Harris of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; 3 daughters: Nita Miller
of Rattan, Oklahoma; Pattie Erwin of Paris, Texas; Linda Hedrick of Rattan,
Oklahoma; 2 sisters: Iona Bradford of Yuba City, California and Mary Haravey
of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Dollie Harris; 1 daughter:
Vivian Harris; brothers: Ardee Harris and Lewis Harris; sisters: Pauline
Hoper, Eula Harris, and Dale Harris.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the
Rattan High School Gymnasium with Reverend Rick Dominic and Reverend Sam
Pound officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were: Noel Gibson, Rob White, Sam Dyer, Otis Caten,
Ronnie Miller, and Roger Denison.

Honorary pallbearers included: Johnny Courtwright, Steve Crawford, and
Johnny Self.

Burial was held at the Corinne Cemetery under the direction of Mills-Coffey
Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
