GEOFFRY HIGGINS
Geoffry Higgins was born April 12, 1922 in Corinne, Oklahoma and
passed away
on December 22, 2001 in Enid, Oklahoma at 78 years of age.
Mr. Higgins was formerly of Antlers/Pushmataha Area. He was of the
Baptist
Faith and an ordained Baptist deacon. He was the first cameraman
for KTLV in
the 50's and later a studio manager and announcer. He worked and
retired
from Eastman Kodak.
He is survived by his wife Gwen Higgins of Enid, Oklahoma; 1 son
Bruce Geoff
Higgins of Enid, Oklahoma; 2 daughters Lynn Horton and husband
Jimmie of
Tyler, Texas and Rhonda Thomas and husband Hurshel of Tyler,
Texas; 9
grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, December 28, 2001
at 3:00
p.m. with Reverend Jim Murphy officiating.
He was laid to his final resting place at Antlers City Cemetery
under the
direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
