EARNEST J. HOGAN, JR.

Earnest J. Hogan, Jr. was born on May 11, 1922 in Finley, Oklahoma and
passed from this life on December 9, 2000 at the Pushmataha Hospital in
Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years.

Earnest was a lifelong resident of the Finley and Antlers area. He married
Loretta (Finley) Potts on June 10, 1996 in DeQueen, Arkansas. He had worked
as a heavy equipment operator, was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing,
hunting and being outdoors.

He is survived by wife Loretta Hogan of the home; 2 brothers: Merle Hogan
and Conrad Hogan both of California; 4 sisters: Virginia Malcom of Clayton,
Okla., Martha Flowers of California, Naomi Alder of Shreveport, Louisiana,
Kathleen Turnentine of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Earnest was preceded in death by his parents: Earnest J. & Lucille Hogan,
Sr.; 2 brothers: Warren Hogan and Burrell Hogan; and 2 sisters: Juanita
Gossitt and Velma King.

Graveside services were held Monday, December 11, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. with D.
Brent Franks officiating.

Burial was held at the Finley Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey
Funeral Home of Antlers, Oklahoma.
