Sanders Cemetery is located on the Highway 64 towards Vian. After crossing Big Sallisaw Creek at the Park take the next dirt road south, as soon as you cross the bridge over the Interstate look for a cattle guard in the east fence row, turn east through the fence and follow the land to road to the cemetery. Cemetery is on a slight knoll and contains several large trees. Decoration at  Sanders Cemetery is the third Sunday in May.
