Graveside services for Ruby Jewell BIGGS, 71, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.  Mrs. BIGGS died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in a local hospital.  Survivors include her husband, David; one daughter, Paula four sisters, Claudia, Pauline, Faye, and Ruth; three brothers, Lloyd, Paul  and Dib; four grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.  Arrangements were under the direction of Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  

The death of Mary La Verne (GRIFFITH) DALE was reported in the May 25, edition of the Bakersfield Californian.  Mrs. DALE died Monday, May 24, 1999, after a series of strokes, beginning in November 1987.  She was born Feb. 17, 1929, in Sallisaw.  She married Jack DALE in September 1963.   Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Nick and  Lisa and Charlie; seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Carl; aunt, Lola ; and numerous relatives and friends.  Mrs. DALE was preceded in death by her husband, Jack DALE.  A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. May 27 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bakersfield.  

Funeral services for J. Jolene HUNT, 37, of Mansfield, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mansfield United Methodist Church.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Midland, Ark., under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Mansfield.  Mrs. HUNT died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at her home.  Survivors include her husband, Paul HUNT; one daughter, Laura; two sons, Billy and Bradley; her mother and stepfather, Joyce and Jerry GILBREATH; maternal grandmother, Alta MILLIGAN ; paternal grandparents, Oliver and Evelyn CHAMBERS; two sisters, Sherry and Tammy; and three brothers, Mike , Tom and Jerry.  Mrs. HUNT was preceded in death by her father , Bill CHAMBERS, and her maternal grandfather, Tom MILLIGAN.  

Funeral services for Ruby Marie KING, 78, of Muldrow are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, with the Rev. Dennis James officiating.  Burial is in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. KING was born June 11, 1920, in Muldrow, to Charley Wesley COKER and Alta (MITCHELL) COKER.  She died Monday, May 31, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married Noah Jackson "Chief" KING Nov. 24, 1942, in Fort Smith, Ark. He preceded her in death June 3, 1985.   Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bob; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters, Della, Opal and Neva; and five brothers, Jack, Frank, Sidney, Homer and John.  Mrs. KING was preceded in death by one grandson, Terry Lee RIGGS on Feb. 11, 1994, in Muldrow and two brothers, Hugh Wesley and C. B. COKER.  

Graveside services for Juanita ROOTS, 89, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow.  Mrs. ROOTS died Sunday, May 30, 1999, in a nursing home.  Survivors include four granddaughters, Kelly, Kandy, Melissa and  Johnnie Lynn; and two grandsons, Daniel and Carrol "Joe".  Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Ark.  

Funeral services for Cleo T. "Shack" SHACKELFORD, 88, of Sallisaw will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with the Rev. Tommy  Treat officiating, Owen Shackelford II  will deliver the eulogy.  Burial will be in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. SHACKELFORD  was born Dec. 7, 1910, in the Paw Paw community, to Stephen Harris SHACKELFORD and Jessie Belle (PETTIT) SHACKELFORD.  He died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ray G. ; one sister-in-law, Della; and nine nephews and nieces.  Mr. SHACKELFORD was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Clifford H., and O. D. SHACKELFORD, and one sister, Lucille SHACKELFORD BLAYLOCK.  

Funeral services for Rodolfo E. "Rudi" VALDIVIA, 34, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Jeff Polasek and Leroy Reid officiating.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. VALDIVIA was born April 30, 1965, in Valvillo, Agvascalientes, Mexico, to Guillermo and Luz Maria (ESQUEDA) VALDIVIA.  He died Thursday, May 27, 1999, near Stilwell.  He married Jodi Lynn FOSTER Sept. 28, 1991, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include his wife, Jodi VALDIVIA of the home; three daughter, Whitney Jo, Taylor Samone and Jessica Marie; his parents, Guillermo and Luz Maria; four brothers, Anastacio, Jose Dejesus "Richard", Samuel and Guillermo "Bill"; and three sisters, Rafaela, Sara, and Luzellena.  

Memorial services for Sandra K. WILLIAMS, 47, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith.  Mrs. WILLIAMS died Thursday, May 27, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include her husband, John WILLIAMS of the home; two sons, Randy and Jess; one stepson, Sean; one sister, Karen; three brothers, Bobby, Harry and Allen; and one grandchild. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.

Funeral services for W. T. "Dub" ISHAM, 76, of Sallisaw are being held at 11 a.m.  Saturday, with the Rev. Thomas Still officiating.  Burial is in Buffington Cemetery , west of Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. ISHAM was born March 7, 1923, in Sallisaw to Jim Carroll ISHAM and Mary Elizabeth (CARROLL) ISHAM.  He died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, in Sallisaw.  He married Augusta Gladys "Gussie"  HORNUNG July 25, 1973, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include his wife, Gussie  ISHAM of the home; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim ; five sisters, Opal , Marie, Dorothy, Shirley, and Doris; and several nieces, nephews,  cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Mrs. ISHAM was preceded in death by his daughter, Reba in 1997.

Funeral services for Winton OSBORNE, 74, of Alma, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Chapel in Alma.  Burial was in Newberry Chapel Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.  Mr. OSBORNE  died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, in a local hospital.   Survivors include  three daughters, Beatrice, Irene Kay, and Evonne; one son, Buster; one sister, Velma; six grandchildren, , Jimmy, Alicia, Angela, Karla, Nikki, and Gwen; and 16 great-grandchildren.  Mr. OSBORNE was preceded in death by his wife, Alice.  

Funeral services for Viola ROACH, 92, of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Agent Chapel in Gore, with the Rev. Tommy Ballard officiating.  Burial is in Round Mountain Cemetery, east of Gore, under the direction of Agent Chapel Funeral in Gore.  Mrs. ROACH was born Feb. 14, 1907, in Briartown, Oklahoma Indian Territory, to George Washington CRANE and Epsie  Adeline (PETERS) CRANE.  She died Thursday, June 3, 1999, in Gore.  She married Robert ROACH Sept. 16, 1925, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death June 5, 1975.  Survivors include six grandchildren, Evelin, JoAnn, Donnia, Linda, and Lynn Ann, and Chris ; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Mrs. ROACH was also preceded in death by  three sons, Albert, Roy and Louis ROACH.

Funeral Mass for Ruth Pearl ACKERMAN, 76, of  Gore were held at 10 a.m.  Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Webbers Falls, with Father Jeff Polasek officiating.  Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Vian, under the direction of Millsap funeral Service of Webbers Falls.  A rosary service was at 7:00 p.m.  Tuesday in Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls.  Mrs. ACKERMAN was born March 4, 1923, at Ardmore to Edward D. and Emma (WOLKEN) BACH.  She died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. ACKERMAN married Charles ACKERMAN on Sept. 28, 1946, in Okmulgee, and was preceded in death by a son, Ronald ACKERMAN.   Survivors include her husband, Charles ACKERMAN of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and James; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Jim and Elizabeth, Jay and Toni, and Joyce ; one sister, Wilma ; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  

Services for Edith H. BLEDSOE, 75, of Sallisaw were held at 11 a.m. May 21, 1999, at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Tommy Noel officiating.  Mrs. BLEDSOE  was born Feb. 11, 1924, in Sacred Heart, to Joseph and Bernadette (SHIFMAN) HIGDON.  She died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, in Sallisaw.   Survivors include one daughter, Linda; five sons, Ed, Jim, Jerry, Rick and Ronnie; 18 grand children; eight great-grandchildren; and one halfsister, Pat.  Cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Dollie Marie DAVIS, 90, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw the Rev. Rodney Roberson officiated.  Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. DAVIS was born December 26, 1908, in Sallisaw, to Charley Wesley BORIN and Laura Isabelle (MCCAIN) BORIN.  She died Saturday, June 5, 1999, in Sallisaw.  She married Norman Hobert Davis on July 7, 1930, in Sallisaw.  He preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1988.  Survivors include four sons, Norman, Paul, Carl and Gilbert; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one stepbrother, Burl .  

Funeral services for Dortha Sarah DAY, 81, of Roland are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow.  The Revs. Carthel Ramey and Bernice Ramey will officiate.  Burial is at Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. DAY was born June 22, 1917, in Copic to Rucker Alexander HOLIMAN and Minnie Anne (BURGESS)  HOLIMAN. She died  Monday, June 7, 1999, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Rudolph Edmond DAY Feb. 12, 1932, in Sallisaw.  He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 1976.  She was also preceded in death by one son, Tommy Ray DAY and one daughter, Dortha Fern BOLDING.  Survivors include four daughters, Paralee, Goldie, Maggie and Emogene; five sons, Jim, Bill, Frank, Charlie and  R. E. Jr.; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice; and one brother, Lester.  

Funeral services for Jack EUBANKS, 78, of Vian were held at 1 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum. The Rev.  Dale Ritter officiated.  Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. EUBANKS was born March 19, 1921, at Mena, Ark., to Kesrie Conrad EUBANKS and Clatie Carma (MARONEY) EUBANKS.  He married Dollie Agnes JOHNSTON in Ashdown, Ark..  Survivors include his wife, Dollie A. EUBANKS of the home; one daughter, Karen; five sons, Edward Jack Jr., Richard Glen, James W., K. C. and Raymond; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Leonard Carroll GRISSOM, 73, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Burial will be Friday at Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Texas, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home and Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.  Mr. GRISSOM died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include his wife, Pauline of the home; two daughters, Paula and Vonetta; one granddaughter, Apryl; two sisters, Harriette and Helen; and several nieces and nephews.  

Former Vian resident, Jimmie Ray REAVIS, 66, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, June 4, 1999, in  a Texarkana hospital.  Mr. REAVIS was born June 23, 1932, in Texola to John David  "J. D." and Mary Adela (WARREN) REAVIS.  Mr. REAVIS  is survived by his wife, Joanne of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Karen and Mark; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy and Lee and Cindy and Eduardo; two sisters, Edna and Betty; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at East Memorial Chapel in Texarkana, with the Rev. Bill Steeger officiating.  Burial was in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home in Texarkana.  

 Graveside services for May Virginia Sandy SHANKS, 72, of Sallisaw were held at 2 Tuesday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian , under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. SHANKS was born July 6, 1926, in Camden, Ark., to Joe LONGORIA  and Mattie VINE LONGORIA.  She married Charles SHANKS  and was a homemaker.  Survivors include her husband, Charles SHANKS of the home; three sons, Craig, Scott, and Kent; two sisters, Essie and Kitty; one brother, Julian; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  Mrs. SHANKS was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.  

Funeral services for Julia SMITH, 66, of Cookson were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.  Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cookson Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.  Survivors include her husband, Darrell SMITH of  Cookson; two daughters Debby and La Gina; three sons, Anthony, Mike and Mitch; four sisters, Lois, Donna, Vera and Nola Faye; three brothers, Cecil, Steve and Jerry; 15 grandchildren; and one  great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Wilard SOUTHERN, 78, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 11 Tuesday, at Mallory Funeral Chapel in Sallisaw.  The Rev. Wesley McGlothlin officiated.  Burial was at Akins Cemetery, northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home.  Mrs. SOUTHERN  was born May 25, 1921, at Muldrow , to Bill SOUTHERN  and Beulah KING SOUTHERN.  He married Loreda WOODS on April 5, 1940.  Survivors include his wife, Loreda of the home; two daughters, and one son-in-law, Margaret and Robert and Deloris; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Carolyn and James and Sue; two sisters Joyce and Maxine; three brothers, Gene, Bill and and Gary; 14 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.  Mr. SOUTHERN was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley HENSON and Joanna BROWN; and three brothers, Dale, Sidney and Donald SOUTHERN.  

Graveside services for Bebline May SPRADLING, 75, of Gore will be held at 2 Friday, at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service in Webbers Falls.  Mrs. SPRADLING was born March 9, 1924, at Howe, to Edward and Bertha (LOLLIS) MARTIN.  She died Friday, May 28, 1999, at her home.  She married Troy Otis SPRADLING April 10,1 941, in Muskogee. He preceded her in death Dec. 1,1993.    Survivors include two sons, Bobby Ray and Ray Lee; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  

Graveside services for Elmer "Mule" SUTTON, 84, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Czarnikow Cemetery, near Roland, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include  four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Charles Thomas CANTRELL, 72, of Muldrow are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Tommy Jordan officiating.   Burial is at Redland Cemetery, southwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mr. CANTRELL was born June 7, 1927, to Andrew CANTRELL and Cammie Elizabeth (WATTS) CANTRELL CROSSLIN, in the  Redland community.  He died Thursday, June 10,1 999, at Muldrow.  Survivors include one son, Charles Robert ; three grandchildren; one sister, Anna; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Veronica Bernice DAMERON, 94, of Vian were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Round Mountain Church west of Vian, with the Rev. Laymon Garrison officiating.   Burial was at Round Mountain Cemetery west of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. DAMERON was born July 6, 1904, at Keota, Haskell District, Oklahoma, I. T., to Albert Walter BRIGANCE and Cora Lucy Ann (PADGETT)  BRIGANCE.  She died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at her home in Vian.  She married Melvin Crockett DAMERON  Dec. 20, 1919, in Sallisaw.  He preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1982.  She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Cinderella MONTGOMERY and Bernice SITTON and one son, Melvin Lonnie DAMERON.   Survivors include four daughters, Cecelia, Vonnie Lou, Sadie M. and  Goldie; two sons,  George and Lester; 32 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and  one sister, Violet.  

Funeral services for Vola Mae EDWARDS, 92, of Muldrow were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Copic Baptist Church near Nicut, with the Rev. Floyd Kester Jr.  officiating.  Burial was at Long Cemetery north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. EDWARDS was born Sept. 8, 1906, in the Long community, Sequoyah District, Oklahoma, I. T., to Isaac Phillip HOWELL and Rosa Elizabeth (MONTGOMERY) HOWELL.  She died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at her home in Muldrow.  She married Samuel B. EDWARDS Jan. 2, 1927, at Mineral Springs.  He preceded her in death Dec. 13, 1988.  Survivors include two daughters, Lorene and Carl Elizabeth; one son, Kenneth Bradford; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven sisters, Vadis, Violet, Retha, Dorothy, Lera, Margie and Bonnie.

Graveside services for Misty Renee FIGHT, 26, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m. Friday at White Bluff Cemetery in Bonanza, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.  Miss FIGHT died Sunday, June 6, 1999, in Crawford County, Ark.  Survivors include her parents, Bill and Pamela FIGHT; maternal grandparents, Joan and Jack; two sisters, Brandi and Carie; one brother, Danny; and several nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services for Shirley JoAnn PARSONS, 59, of Porum were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Porum Assembly of God Church in Porum.  The Revs. Marvin McElhannon and Clifford Hyslop officiated.  Burial was in Fields Cemetery in Porum, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. PARSONS was born Dec. 15, 1939, at Webbers Falls, to George W. REECE and Ollie (HARRIS) REECE.  She died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at Warner.  She married M. D. "Bart" PARSONS Aug. 13, 1964.  he preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.  Survivors include one daughter, Betty ; five sons, Dewayne, Mike, Melvin, Bobby and George; six sisters, Mary, Nadine, Deloris, Betty,Saundra and Julia; three brothers, Cecil, George Jr.  and Arlie; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.  

Mass for Claire B. SMITH JR., 76, of Vian will be held at  11 a.m.  Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw.   The Revs. Jeff Polasek and Jim Henson will officiate.  Burial will be in the U. S. National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson.  Mr. SMITH was born Dec. 20,1 922, to Claire B. SMITH SR. and Louise Gress SMITH , at St. Joseph, Mo.  He died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at Vian.  He married Kay SMITH June 23, 1986, at Kansas City, Mo.  Survivors include his wife, Kay of the home; two daughters, Vicki and Shane; two sons, Mark and Eric; several grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Tommy Parker officiating.  Burial is in Brent Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. BAILEY  was born Dec. 30,  1927, in the Copeland community, to James Albert "Jim" MAINUS and Mattie Elizabeth (VANCE)  MAINUS.  She died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, in Durant.  She married Albert Ransom BAILEY Dec. 24, 1948, in Sallisaw.  he preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1963, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include one daughter, Eunice Coeweta ;  two sons, Olen James and Eldon Ray; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Macie  and Ellen; and two brothers, David and Nolan.  

Funeral services for Betty Lou BISHOP, 42, of Stigler were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Mallory Chapel in Stigler. Burial was at Liberty Cemetery, north of Muldrow, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Stigler.  Mrs. BISHOP was born Oct. 2, 1956, to Joe Earl BISHOP and Minnie Marie ROBINSON at Sallisaw.  She died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Stigler.  Survivors include two daughters, Amy and Angela; four sons, Kenny, Daniel, Brandon and Michael Shane; three sisters, Faye, Helen and Pauline; five brothers, Jessie, Junior, Johnny, Charles and Robbie; and four grandchildren.  

Funeral services for Richard Walter GRIFFIN, 63,  of Vian are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sallisaw, with the Rev. Gilbert Green officiating.  Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday  in LaSalle Cemetery in Groesbeck, Texas, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. GRIFFIN was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Silsbee, Texas, to Frank Simmons GRIFFIN Sr. and nina Velma (JACKSON) GRIFFIN.  He died Monday June 14, 1999, in Vian.  Mr. GRIFFIN married Alice Vondaine HARDISON Nov. 20, 1965, in Silsbee.  Survivors include his wife, Vondaine of the home; two daughters, Lori  and Andrea; five grandchildren; his mother, Nine ; one sister, Nina; and one brother, Frank Jr.  His father and one sister, Nell GRIFFIN, preceded him in death.  

Funeral services for Violet Ina KEITH, 81, of Sallisaw are being held at 2 p.m.  Wednesday at Calvary Temple Full Gospel Church in Sallisaw, with the Revs. Monroe Lowrimore and Edward Markham officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. KEITH  was born July 10, 1917, in Sallisaw, to Jessie Lee WALTERS and Effie Ann (ROUTH) WALTERS.  She died Monday, June 14, 1999, in Sallisaw.   She married Floyd William KEITH Dec. 29,1 933, in Sallisaw.  he preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1979.  Survivors include four daughters,  Helen, Carol, Shirley and Brenda; two sons,  Sam and Ronnie; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary APPERSON,  Etta LONG and Gladys MCHENRY; two brothers,  Roy and Jessie WALTERS; ONE GRANDSON, Bradley JACKSON;  and two great-grandsons, Jeff and Mike KEITH.

Graveside services for Jack Dempsie LANE, 71, of Sallisaw were  held at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Brent Cemetery south of Sallisaw, with Dr. Lee Woodard officiating.  Mr. LANE  was born April 7, 1928, in the Brent Community to Pleasant LANE and Tempie (FULLER) LANE.  He died Friday, June 11, 1999, in Sallisaw.  he married Sue Ann SCOTT on July 14, 1961, in Heavener.  Survivors include his wife, Sue of the home; three sons, Olen D., Jack D. II and Larry Lee;  three granddaughters; three grandsons; one sister, Inez; one brother, John E.;  and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  

Funeral services for Imogene Mildred MOTT, 73, of Spiro are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mallory Chapel in Spiro, with the Rev. Dennis Pierce officiating.  Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.  Mrs. MOTT was boren June 3, 1926, to Alfred CHAMBERLAIN  and Bessie (HILLMAN) CHAMBERLAIN at Spiro.  She died Sunday, June 13, 1999, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.   She married R. J. MOTT on April 27, 1944.  He preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, S. S. CHAMBERLAIN.  Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Danny, and Phyllis and Buddy; one sister, Ruby; five grandchildren; and  five great-grandchildren.  

Graveside services for John J. "Sonny" RUSSELL, 59, of Guthrie were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Roland City Cemetery in Roland, with the Rev. Delbert Carter officiating.  Mr. Russell was born Sept. 4, 1939, to John W. RUSSELL and Judy M. (DAY) RUSSELL, in Muldrow.  He died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Webbers Falls.   Survivors include a companion, Sally; one daughter, Lena; three sons, Daniel, Stacy  and Darrin; the mother of his children, Charlene; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Judy F.,  Katherine, Millie and Lagusta; and one brother, Leonard .  Arrangements were under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.

Jim Cook officiating.  Burial  is in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.  Mr. WINSEL was born Dec. 7, 1902, at Rich Mountain, Mo.  he died Sunday, June 13, 1999 at Oaks Nursing Center in Poteau.  Survivors include three daughters, Rado Mae,  Norma Sue and Barbara Jo; one son, Paul J.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for  Jerry Lynn FRANKS SR.,  58, of Tulsa are being held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, under the direction of Floral Haven Funeral Home.  Mr. FRANKS was born Aug. 20, 1940, in Waldo, Ark., to Lynn and Helen (WARE) FRANKS.  he died Sunday, June 13, 1999, in Tulsa.   Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, J. Kermit  II; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Willard ; and several nieces.  

Funeral services for Clara Doris BRADLEY, 68, of Inola, formerly of Cowlington, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cowlington Baptist Church.  The Rev. Darrell Bailey officiated. Burial was in Cowlington Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mrs. BRADLEY was born July 10, 1930, in Cowlington, to Clarence William CALLICOATT  and Beatrice Adell (KING)  CALLICOATT.  She died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Claremore.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Robert BRADLEY Nov. 29, 1965.   Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bobby Lee, and Jimmy A. and Pamela; five grandsons; two great-granddaughters, ; and one brother, Clarence.

Funeral services for Quinton HINDMAN, 66, of Del City, are being held at 10 a.m. Thursday, in the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City.  Burial is at 3 p.m. Thursday at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw, under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes Inc.. of Del city.  Mr. HINDMAN was born June 15, 1933, in Sallisaw, to Charles Allen and Virgie Florence (QUINTON) HINDMAN.  He died Sunday, June 20, 1999.  He married Ann Griffith Sept. 9, 1956, in Gainesville, Texas.  Survivors include his wife, Ann HINDMAN of the home; three sons, Johnny and Donny; and Jack; one daughter, Quintina; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charley and Rick; four sisters, Marlene, Judy, Zelma and Jeannie. Mr. HINDMAN was preceded in death by his parents and one niece.

Jim Armstrong officiating.  Burial was in Belefonte Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  Mr. KELLY  was born April 25, 1928, in the Long community, to James Sylvester KELLY  and Addie (LACEY) KELLY.  He died Friday, June 18, 1999, in Sallisaw.  He married Geneva Mae DOUGHERTY, Aug. 4, 1948, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include his wife, Geneva KELLY of the home; two daughters, Jennie Louise and Cathy ; three sons, Frankie Dale, Tommy and  Ronnie; eight grandchildren; and three sisters, Mary Ann , Mildred and Glenna.

LESSLEY, 81, of Kingman, Kan., formerly of Sallisaw, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Akins Cemetery northeast of Sallisaw.  Mr. LESSLEY was born March 7, 1918, at Sallisaw, to Thomas F. LESSLEY and Fannie (HARRELL) LESSLEY .  He died Tuesday, June 22, 199, at Kingman.  He married Mildred J. STAFFAN Jan. 4, 1936, in Sallisaw.  Survivors include three sons, Jesse F., Ronald L., and Jerry Don; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.   Arrangements are under the direction of Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman and Agent Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Wilson Milton McEVER, 83,   of Yakima, Wash, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima, with the Rev. Rogers.  Mr. McEVER was born March 16, 1916, in Hanson, to James and Katie (WOFFORD) McEVER.  He died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, in Yakima.  He married Lorene SPEARS in 1940. She preceded him in death May 2,1992.  He married Mary Frances BUNTEN May 31, 1952.  Survivors include  his wife, Mary McEVER of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon and Don, Joyce, and Paulette and Joe; one son, Edward; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emogene.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.  Arrangements are under the direction of Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima.

OGLE Dec. 20, 1929, in Enid.  He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1979, in Norman.  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Billie and Pat; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Karen; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four nieces; two nephews; and several cousins, and other relatives and friends.  Arrangements are under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Dale Ritter officiating, and Donald Allen Simmons reading the eulogy.  Burial was in  Box Cemetery, under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.  Mr. PLEW was  born Sept. 29, 1969, at Oklahoma City, to Merlin E. and Gladys (ROBERTSON) PLEW.  He died Monday, June 21, 1999, in a Tulsa hospital.  Survivors include his parents, Merlin E. and Gladys; one son, Christophen Harlen; paternal grandparents, Merlin Kenneth; and Bob and Mary ;  aunts and uncles  Wanda, Donald and Betty, Bob and Wilma, Lavern and Wash, Loura , Bobby, and Donald Allen; and many other relatives and friends.  Mr. PLEW was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Crystal ROBERTSON.

Randy Wade officiating.  Burial was in Illinois Chapel Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Muldrow.  Mrs. BAKER was born Nov. 10, 1907, in Prairie Grove, to George DALE and Leota (FRY) DALE.  She died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, in Tulsa.  She married Frances E. BAKER  Sept. 19, 1941, in Fayetteville, Ark.  He preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1952.  Survivors include one son, Paul F. ; one grandson, Paul David; and four nieces.

GRAY.  He then married Cindy J. SUTHERLAND on Aug. 7, 1995, in Fort Smith, Ark.  Survivors include his father, Frankie; three sons, Aaron , Anthony and Ashby; two daughters, Amber and Leslie; one sister, Kaylene; one brother, Ronnie; paternal grandmother, Reta; and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta HUNTER and his paternal grandfather, Allen Frank HUNTER.

Spencer Jones officiating.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery at Spiro, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Pocola.  Mr. KELLEY  was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Fort Smith, Ark.  he died Tuesday, june 22, 1999, in Fort Smith.  Survivors include his wife, Noma of the home; three daughters, Nancy, Sally and Gloria; two sons, William and Ronnie; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Betty , Bessie and Jessie "Sis".

RILEY, 54, of Rose Hill, Kan., are being held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Broadway Christian Church in Rose Hill.  Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home, Inc., in Sallisaw and Broadway mortuary, Inc., in Wichita, Kan.  Mr. RILEY was born March 22, 1945, in Bartlesville, to George Clifford RILEY and Frances Pauline (TENNENT) RILEY.    Mr. RILEY married Martha Othelia LOWRIMORE Dec. 19, 1970, in Tulsa.  Survivors include his wife, Martha RILEY of the home; three daughter, Abigail , Leigha and Sara; one son, Mark ; and one sister, Carolyn.
