from some Tulsans about
Some Tulsa Pioneers
First:
You forget to mention the "Penny Park" gang. Their at the old vern
station. We still have a "Penny Park" reunion their every year in September. Its a
must to attend if you grew up out on the Sands Springs line. And "Willie's"
drive in their at vern station. Oh, you made me home sick.
Born and raised on the Sand Springs line.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I didnt forget your e-mail on the "Penny
Park" reunion. The park is at 49th & Charles Page Blvd. Formerly known as
vern station and the Sands Springs line. Most of us kids from out their all
graduation from Tulsa Central High, the old one that is. So, sad to see so many
old beautiful things gone from when I grew up. I will send you some more
things when I can and can you be more specific on what kind of information you will
need about the area? On my way out to work
Thanks,
Jane<Tempr01@aol.com>
