Would enjoy exchanging info with persons interested in the following early Tulsa families: ROBERTSON (incl. town marshall C.W. ROBERTSON, Jr.), RICHARDS, LEDFORD, and BEATTIE. Associated families include SMITTLE, MOWBRAY, PHILLIPS, and others. The RICHARDS line I'm researching traces back to William Winfield RICHARDS, a Civil War vet, an early Tulsa resident who later settled in Stillwater, Payne Co., OK. His daughter, Lillie Alice (RICHARDS) ROBERTSON (wife of C.W. ROBERTSON) lived until 1959 and at the time of her death, was Tulsa's oldest resident and the last survivor of Tulsa's first school, the Presbyterian Mission. Her son, Albert P. CHURCH.....Looking for any information on Bryant G. CHURCH b. Nov 17, 1861, Waverly, Morgan County, IL. or Jessie W. CHURCH b. Jan 3, 1881, Illinois. They were in Stroud OK early 1890's. They were carpenters. Bryant's first wife was Sophia b. Jul 1868, Illinois. Bryant and Jessie move to Tulsa abt 1915. I would appreciate any information or suggestion on the CHURCH family.

I am looking for any information about my father, James Perry Martin--b 1917 in Oklahoma, and my grandfather, James Cleburn Martin. We lived in Tulsa from about 1948 to Dec. 1953. My grandfather died in Tulsa around 1950-51. My father died in Tulsa around 1955-56. My grandfather was married to a woman named Dove who had a twin sister named Love, but she was my step grandmother--my grandfather's second wife. My aunt, my father's sister, is now in custodial care in deep depression, so I can't find out anything about my family. Please contact me if you have any information that would help me find out something about this part of my family.

I am looking for any information on ancestors or decendants of Orleva Gipson or Bobby Jack Gipson, that may have lived in Tulsa, Tulsa County, OK in 1935. I'm looking for any info. or descendents of Peter C. SMITH. He was my great- uncle, and my great-grandfathers obituary states that he was survived by Peter C. Smith of Tulsa, Okla.(1942). Peter left Pennsylvania and came to Okla. between 1890 and the early 1900's. We are trying to reach all family lines so we can trace back to Peter and John's parents (whom we believed changed their name from Schmidt to Smith). Peter also had 2 sisters, one was named Minnie and the other all I have is a married name of Mrs. Ira Hemme. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any decendants of James Gerald Conner or his brother (his name unknown) My father, Floyd Olen Conner, was a son of James Gerald Conner. Floyd was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 24, 1920. Floyd also had a brother, Willie Harold, also born in Tulsa, on April 16, 1922. I am trying to get more information on their father. I have NONE! SULLIVAN, Wesley Monroe, b abt 1882, where? died ?, where?, marr Emma KELLEY abt 1905. She was born 17 Oct 1887, Pierce City, MO., d 10 Apr 1970 at Tulsa, Tulsa, OK. Wesley later married Flora ? and Lillian ?. His children were Eula Belle SULLIVAN, b 20 Feb 1908, Tulsa, Tulsa, OK., d 17 Jul 1985 at Prineville, OR., Ada Elizabeth, James Bradford, and John W. PHILLIPS I am looking for any relatives of the PHILLIPS family who lived in Tulsa, OK in 1930's. My Grandfather, Clarence Henry PHILLIPS was the son of William (Bill) PHILLIPS and Mary Floyd Gallagher. Clarence Henry married Mildred Ann Baker in 1934. At that time "Red" as he was known was a student at Tulsa University where he was a football and track star. "Red" and Mildred had two sons, Clarence Bruce PHILLIPS b. 1936 in Tulsa and Charles Patrick b. 1938 in TX. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
