The First State Carnegie Library was built in 1901 Guthrie, Logan County. The symbolic marriage of Mr. Oklahoma
and Mrs. Indian Territory was held here. It was also here on June 14, 1908. Ninety women from all over the state met
to make the first official U.S. flag with 46 stars, including a star for Oklahoma.
